DescriptionE. B. Stone Organics Agricultural Lime is derived from naturally occurring lime stone and supplies calcium and magnesium to the soil. It is useful for increasing the pH of the soil. For lawns and gardens as well as supplementing plant nutrition and soil nutrients. The pH of the soil is the measurement of how acid or alkaline it is. Adding Agricultural Lime to acid soils aids in creating a more neutral pH (pH 7.0). To ensure productive garden soil, it is best to maintain a pH of 5.5 to 7.0. Most plants thrive when at a pH range of 6.0 to 7.0 where most nutrients necessary for plant growth are the most available. This product is 100% natural and organic. Contains calcium, magnesium, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate equivalent. Derived from: Dolomitic Limestone. Also contains non-plant food ingredient: Lignosulfate (Binder).
